Chapter 23 She Looks Pretty!

"Hold on, will you charge me for tasting it?" Kim asked cautiously as he had once met a snob who

charged him money for tasting though he got the promise in advance that it was free for it.

"Come on, since it's free of charge if you want to just taste something in the supermarket, you can still

taste the liquor here for free!" Conrad said.

"Really?" Kim looked at Conrad with doubt. But he still chose two kinds of liquor for tasting—80-year-

old aged Maotai and Swellfun 1916 Classic.

The 80-year-old aged Maotai actually referred to the annual limited-edition liquor aiming at

commemorating the Panama World's Fair held in 1915, which was produced by the refined alcohol

brewed in 1915. Each single bottle of them was verified with unique numbers and certificate. They had

been deemed as the best gift for the most honorable guest.

As for the Swellfun 1916 Classic, it was also deemed as a treasure for guests. Obviously, Kim was a

connoisseur.

"Okay, I will open them for you to taste." But Conrad found that he had no glasses around and it would

be a waste if Kim drank with the whole bottle. So he said, "Amara, bring me a few glasses."

"Okay, I am coming!" The sweet voice of Amara could be heard from outside as she was quite closed

to them.

Amara, who dressed in an office uniform, then took a few goblets into the room with a tray, looking

quite attractive.

"Wow, she looks pretty! Is she your secretary?" Kim's eyes seemed to glow with hormone and he kept

staring at her body.

Conrad squinted at him so as to remind him of the business.

Kim seemed to notice his own discourtesy. He cleared his voice awkwardly and focused on the liquor

again.

As soon as Conrad opened the aged Maotai, Kim could smell the unique fragrant emitting from it. He

couldn't help closing his eyes to enjoy the nice scent. And he almost felt like dribbling.

'Damn! How could that boy waste such a bottle of luxurious liquor!' Kim thought to himself. From his

perspective, even opening it for tasting would be great squander.

However, he had no idea that Conrad had a strong backup with the Discount King app, where there

were all kinds of luxurious products with more than 99% off the original price. Even if Conrad was

asked to have all the bottles of Maotai opened for tasting, he wouldn't even care.

Amara only served two mere shots of Maotai as she was then aware that it was only for tasting. For

her, wasting the liquor would be the last thing she would do. So she only poured a few grams of liquor.

Kim moved the liquor near his nostrils, which smelt quite unique with nice fragrance. He then took a sip

Though it was his first time to taste the Maotai aged with 80 years, he could tell it tasted much better novelbin

After that, Kim stared at the opened bottle of Maotai held by Amara.

"Sorry, the tasting section for this one comes to an end!" Amara took back the liquor. She swore she

wouldn't even waste a drop of it.

Conrad dissolved into laughter. He seemed to employ the best one to be his assistant.

Then Conrad opened the Swellfun 1916 Classic and Amara poured a shot for Kim.

Kim rinsed his mouth with pure water first and then he started to taste it.

Though it tasted different from Maotai and he could tell that this one was a bit inferior to Maotai, they

still made no great difference as they both ranked as the top section in the market.

Conrad then said, "So you can rest assure now. How many bottles of them do you want?"

"So gentleman, may I know the price first?" Kim softened his attitude greatly as before and asked with

great respect. Since he had great need for aged liquor, he had to develop a nice friendship with

Conrad.

"Well, I won't overcharge you. I will just sell them with the common market price, 67,000 for each bottle

of Maotai and 20,000 for Swellfun."

Upon hearing that, Kim couldn't believe his ears. He hurried to asked, "Really?"

Commonly speaking, it was quite rare to get the mentioned brands of liquor in the market. Some of the

liquor shop would even sell them with 15% plus the market price. So Kim was quite excited to know

that Conrad sold them only at the original price.

"They are so expensive?!" Amara exclaimed as well as she only had a little knowledge of liquor. She

only deemed that Maotai would be commonly worth hundreds of yuan so he had never expected that it

would be worth so much and a single bottle of it even overtook her monthly salary.

Kim looked at Amara with doubt. In his opinion, since Conrad engaged in liquor industry, as his

assistant, Amara should know much about the price. However, no one knew that it was also the first

time for Conrad to sell aged liquor.

Conrad then asked, "I have all kinds of liquor in stock. So just tell me how much you need. I would like

to pay 10X above the price as compensation if you find that anyone of them was fake."

"Hold on. I need to confirm the number with my boss." Kim walked aside to make a call. After that, he

returned and said, "One bottle for the aged Maotai and three bottles for Swellfun Classic."

"Okay, Amara, get the things he asks for and be ready to take the money."

"Yes, sir!" Amara then picked up a bottle of Maotai and three bottles of Swellfun on the ground and

placed them in a box. Then she handed it to Kim.

Kim also transferred 127,000 yuan online to Conrad's bank account. The deal was successfully

concluded.

Conrad received the notice from the bank. He nodded and shook hands with Kim. A nice and satisfying

business was done.
