Chapter 13

I stared at the picture with my mouth agape, I couldn't just believe it and for some second I thought

it was a mere illusion, she just mentioned he is her crush and now I expected to see someone else, I

expect to see a random man who caught her heart only to see the last person she thought it could be,

this left her weak,

She couldn't do anything, her heart was heavy now and she felt like crying, it was the last thing

she wanted in life,

She glanced at the picture again and saw him, the man was the same that had caught her heart, at

first sight, the very man she believed could be her mate, this was that same man who had believed her

when everyone doubted her words, she had mind linked with him and saw the pity he got for her,

Why then is he the same man Scarlett called her to crush, she had his picture all over the pages of

her diary with descriptions of love, there were drawing of heart and love,

Gosh!

I hissed loudly and flung the book back into the drawer, sadness covered my heart, I knew what

would happen next, I know how dangerous this would be, everyone was going to hate me more for

taking her first love away, I don't just understand why I'm always unfortunate, Scarlett and everyone novelbin

was going to treat me more cruelly if they find out I'm his mate meaning that Scarlett has no chance,

I shrugged and went on with cleaning but then I couldn't concentrate, I was worried that they will

meet in school, the school was the best and was built only for the rich, even if I am allowed to go to

school, it will never be that school, I'm not worth getting close to the gate,

I don't know but I'm getting jealous that Scarlett would be meeting him, I haven't been able to talk

to him face to face, I haven't got the chance to touch him, we haven't spent time together and now

someone else was going to do that before me, Scarlett is the desperate type and is afraid they will

meet, what if someway somehow he likes her??

She looks more beautiful and sophisticated than me, she is equally his clan, both have their father

as an Alpha,

"What are you doing there?" I heard her voice from behind and flinched back to reality realizing

that I had been sitting on her bed lost in thought...

I sprang up and picked the broom, I was already done cleaning the room,

"I'm sorry!" I breathed with my head bow, without waiting for any word from her, I scurried out but

she drew me back immediately.

"What were you doing in my room while I left, I'm sure you stole something..." She accused making

me sneer at her, she looked so little in my eyes and I wished I wasn't rejected and hated, beating her

wouldn't take me three seconds, she looked so fragile and small yet she was yelling at me,

"I stole nothing little girl, I'm done with cleaning your room, let me go!" I gruffed and she chuckled,

"Not so soon, guards!!!" She called out and I felt the great urge to slap her, I swear, I don't know

how possible it was that I didn't slap her,

Three guards barged in,

"Strip her up and search her whole body, she stole something from my room!" The little thing

ordered with those tiny voices making me laugh, what was she thinking?

"Don't you dare to touch me!" I growled at the men who turned to me like were they going to do

what she said?

"Do as I say now!" She thundered and the men walked close making me clench my fist,

I am aware they are men, I'm aware they got the muscles, but I am going to fight with all I get and I

vow to kill one of them before they succeed in striping me in front of this little girl who should be calling

me her aunty,

One of the men charged at me and gripped my gown and made to tear it when I sent two quick

punch to his face, he fell immediately motionless causing the others to shudder in shock as they stare

with mouth agape, I was also shocked seeing the force of my blow, I could see his tooth on the floor

while blood flow freely, he was gasping for breath as he would die,

I knew I'm in for more trouble but at least I escaped being disgraced,

"This is what you all will get any time you dare to touch me!" I howled in anger kicking the guard on

the ground as I walked out.

"Come and give me back what you stole you, thief!" Scarlett yelled at me making me roll my eyes

at her, I wish I can beat her, I hate her so much now not just because of the order she gave the guard

but because she has my mate as her crush,

When dad hears this, he would hate me the more,

When she meets him, she might charm with those tricks, this girl can do anything out of

desperation just to get what she wants,

"Guards get her here!!!!" She thundered but none of them dared, they only bent to help the one

baffling for his life on the ground,

I was so enraged and got such a power, the blow wasn't normal, I felt strange whenpunching him,

it was an unusual feeling.

I sighed and head to my room, my mind flashed at the question Ariana the witch asked me,

She had seen my white fur and asked if I got powers, was she talking about these powers I'm

experiencing now because a teen werewolf like me can never bring down a hefty bodyguard with just a

blow,

"Elena, you are a hybrid I swear, but your powers are yet to spurge out!.." My inner wolf spoke out

and I smiled,

"It would be nice right?...at least no one will bully us again, with those powerful, we will make them

crawl on their feet" I smirked and she laughed happily too.
