"Hey Elena stop looking at my mate that way!!!" the voice of Scarlett huffed in making me flinch

back to reality,

I didn't even recognize her presence all this while,

"Wait, is this Jason?" I asked peering into his face with a bright smile

My whole body has goosebump now, I couldn't help myself as I jumped up rushing to him with a

tight hug not minding Scarlett who was standing beside him,

"Guards, push this demon away from him!!!" Scarlett ordered and they pushed me off him hardly

that my head hit on the wall beside the bed,

I groaned and glanced at Jason only to see him standing still but his face grimaced a bit,

I sat up and held my head which was pounding already,

"Elena, your magic has wadded off, he hates you so much now, can't you see us holding

hands??...can't you see he came with me from school???...his eyes are opened and he has got

himself, go to hell with your evil magic to get a mate which isn't yours!!!" Scarlett yelled with pure hatred

and disgust in her eyes,

"Jason, we both know she is lying!" I said smiling at him,

"Elena or whatever you are called, I'm here to punish you myself for tampering with my life, how

dare you use those petty tricks on me!!!" Jason howled with an angry look leaving me stunned while

Scarlett laughed scornfully at me...

"Are you saying that to me??...you believe those foolish words she just spitted?" I questioned with

a raised brow while he scoffed.

"She is my future mate, don't call her word foolish!!!...well, I'll teach you a lesson today!!" he

growled and turned to Scarlett,

"Can you leave the room for just the both of us, you might get hurt mistakenly" he cooed at her

with a sweet smile that made me burn In jealousy,

"Oh, really??... but I want to see her cry in pain" she whined,

Jason's POV

I turned to Elena and saw tears in her eyes already, she was staring at me sadly, I could read her

mind, she thought I was serious and was so pained,

I quickly mind linked with her but she already blocked it thinking I was doing all this for real,

"Please let me stay and watch, I want to see her in pain and laugh her to scorn" Scarlett pressed

on and I got more enraged,

"Hey, you all should get the hell out of here!!!" I yelled at the guards who bowed and left

immediately,

"Scarlett please go out" I forced myself to be all calm but she insisted,

Just then, to my surprise, she fell asleep instantly falling on my arms, I arched my brow and turned

to Elena, her eyes were blueish this time and was glistening with flickering light,

I lay Scarlett gently on the floor and head to the door, I shut it up before walking back to Elena

whose expression was blank,

"You made her fall asleep?" I asked and she rolled her eyes,

"Yes I did, it seemed there is something you want to tell me which you don't want her to hear, I just

learnt I got the power to make one fall into a deep sleep, I'm sorry for using it on your lovely mate!" She

huffed looking away with her chained hands clutched around her body...

I stood there with my lips quivering as my eyes roamed around her, the room she was staying in,

the chains in her hands and feet, she was restrained,

My heart bled, I can't believe this was what she got for coming to see me, I must have been the novelbin

cause, back then I'm the garden, I made her stay longer which must have caused this,

"Elena..." I breathed feeling the heaviness of my heart seeing my mate this way,

Elena's POV

I made Scarlett fall asleep with the new strange power which I had suddenly got, I can't tell how

but I used it on her and it worked,

Okay, I succeded but then you can't tell how sad I am, I did it because Jason wants to talk to me

but then, it might be to say "I'm sorry" it hurt me so much that he choose Scarlett as his mate, as much

as I don't want to believe it, his expression them was real in my eyes, I had been having fake mate pull,

How can a weird werewolf like me have a mate as good as Jason, it is impossible, I was having

useless hope all this while,

"Jason, so she is your true...." I couldn't finish my word before he rushed to where I sat and pulled

me into a tight hug,

"Elena, is this where they kept you?" he sniffed and broke the hug peering into my eyes,

"You called her your mate!....did you...."

"Elena stop repeating those words which I forced out, I said it to gain her trust so I can be here

with you alone, Elena I'm sorry....you are passing through pain, look at you being chained" he howled

and I felt my heart

He was showing me so much care that made me shed tears,

"I pretend to like this bitch so she would bring me here, you are the lady I love, the only lady my

heartbeat for, I love you from the bottom of my heart, and I swear, I'll save you from this shackles" he

cooed with pure passion his eyes, moved his soft palm to my cheeks,

"Elena I love you so much!" He muttered again and again making me grin from ear to ear,

"Jason she is about to wake up, I can feel it" I mumbled and he stared into my eyes,

"How are you able to perform magic?" he asked and I sighed,

"I'm weird, I don't just know who I am, but I know I'm not normal" I sighed falling back on the bed

exhausted,

"Why can't you use those powers to set yourself free??...you couldn't defend yourself with it??" he

questioned squinting his eyes,

"I know nothing about my body, I follow my instinct, things just happen anyway, I feel so hurt that I

won't be coming to school anymore, I will not be able to see you daily..." sniffed and dried my eyes with

the back of my palm,

"I'll save you very soon!" he huffed and carried Scarlett into his arms,

He kept glancing at me even as he walked away,

I smiled and lay back on the bed,

"Elena, you can perform magic for real?" Lena my wolf spoke out with her voice exuding joy,

"It's not funny" I hissed,

"First, you brought down that huge bodyguard with a single attach the other day, and today, you

made Scarlett fall into sleep, I'm sure you are not a mere werewolf..." she squeaked,

"But I can't use these powers anytime, it just comes sometimes and disappears like it was never

there, right now, I can't remember what I did to make her fall asleep, the power is gone" I shrugged

shutting my eyes,

The grumbling of my stomach made me remember I haven't eaten for today,

I sat up immediately, meeting Jason had made hunger vanish, but now he is gone, it has come

back with full force,

I held my stomach angrily,

What is wrong with these people I called my family??

I would be eating once a day and yet, they are gonna bring it late, I'm not used to being hungry

and this new development is going to hit me hard,

My palm moved to my cheek and I found myself grinning amidst hunger, I can clearly remember

the touch of his palm,

I locked my lips having crazy thoughts run through my head, I just thought about having his lips

shut my eyes and felt his presence on the bed with me,

"Jason I love you" I mumbled and just then, a hot slap landed on my cheek making me sprang

from the bed looking around,

My eyes fell on the two guards who had an angry look on their face as they stare at me, one of

them was holding my food,

"Elena, you called out Jason's name In your sleep?" One of them sneered and I sighed stretching

my hand to have the food,

These men are just so annoying,

"I'm reporting you right away, so it is true, you have eyes on Scarlett mate??" The other huffed with

hatred in his eyes,

I rolled my eyes and snatched the food,

"You can run and report me, I don't care!" I snorted eating the food in a rush...

Javier's POV.

Once again, I head into my secret chamber, as the day goes on, my heart grows heavier and the

hatred for Alpha Daren kept increasing,

He doesn't recognize me because I had to change my face, I am back for revenge alone, it has

been years and I'm getting more powerful, I can't wait to end him, I have sacrificed a lot for this, I think

the time should be now!!

I walked into the secret room and sat in front of the dark mirror, no one knows about my evil

practice of forbidden magic, that is how far I had gone to get powers, Daren and his warriors isn't an

easy nut to crack, I can't give them any chance of victory...

For years, I practice this sorcery practices secretly, and Jason a strong Hybrid,

I don't think I'll ever lose,

These thoughts made me smirk feeling, just as I was about proceeding in my practice to increase

my inner powers, my eyes caught the glowing light dim so low that it almost turned off,

I sprang off and took out the substance which looked like a fireball, fear was written all over my

face, I stared at it wondering how possible it was, even if this should happen, it shouldn't be now!

It shouldn't be this moment when I'm about to unleash my attack,

"Jason met his mate???" I fumed and bite my lower lips,

Since he won't reject her, since he decides to open his heart for a mate, I will have to make him

get mad and kill her on the spot, guess he isn't aware I have the power to control his mind...

I stepped out of the room and Jason walked into the sitting room at the same time,

Jason POV.

I finally got home feeling sad about Elena, all that I got in my mind was to find a way to save her, I

badly want to save her, why would every one of her family hate her and even went ahead to chain her

like a slave.

Shit!!

I walked into the sitting room and there was Dad standing at the last staircase with his gaze on me,

"Dad, I'm back...." I smiled but got no smiles in return,

"Daddy, what...."

"Jason!" He called out with the coldest voice I have ever heard,

"What??" I arched my brow,

"I give you three days to kill your newly found mate!!!" he ordered.
