Chapter 5 Kill Her
Evelyn’s room, is personally designed by Henry. Every piece of furniture, even a small ornament in the
corner were meticulously crafted by skilled artisans.
Mia gazed at the vanity filled with dazzling jewelry, her eyes filled with malice. ‘These things should
rightfully belong to me. Sooner or later, I’ll take everything from her. Evelyn, she doesn’t deserve to
have these things.’
“Mia?” Evelyn lazily lifted her head from the bed, her breathtaking face under the setting sun hurt Mia
deeply.
Quickly suppressing her emotions, Mia glanced at Evelyn’s injured wrist and anxiously inquired,
“Evelyn, how is it going? Did things work out?”
“You don’t even know that William is so worried about you. He asked me to tell you that as long as he
becomes powerful, he will definitely snatch you back from Henry and marry you in grand style.”
“If there’s a man who cares for me like that, even if it costs my life, I’ll help him achieve his wishes.”

you try it!”
“What is it?” Mia asked.
Seeing the knife in Evelyn’s hand, Mia panicked. “Evelyn, you shouldn’t play with knives.”
“Hmm? Isn’t this the one you gave me? It’s fake anyway, nothing to be afraid of. I used it yesterday;
although it hurt a bit, it was quite fun.”
The blade ran across Mia’s wrist. Blood gushed out in an instant. Evelyn smirked, creating a chilling
atmosphere.
Mia was terrified. She felt like Evelyn wanted to kill her.
“Evelyn, I…” Mia struggled to pull her hand back.

“What are you afraid of? Don’t you think the knife you gave me is fake, and it can’t cause real harm?
Let’s find out.” Evelyn played with the knife, leisurely spreading the blood on the blade. She even drew
a smiley face on it with unhurried movements.
This action was somewhat perverse. Mia was terrified, feeling as if the knife was hanging over her
heart.
“You must be insane. You must be insane,” Mia stammered.
“Insane? Like you? seducing the bastard William? Both of you are cheating me. Do you think your
actions are noble?” Evelyn played with the knife, her slender fingers slowly spreading the blood on the
blade. She even drew a smiley face on it with unhurried movements.
Mia was terrified. She couldn’t accept that the puppet who had always been obedient suddenly
launched a counterattack.
Evelyn, with the knife against Mia’s face, chuckled. Her fingers, so fair, moved slowly, the razor-sharp
blade teasing Mia’s makeup-covered skin. Mia shivered, afraid that Evelyn might accidentally cut her
face.
“Ah…”
Mia couldn’t take it anymore, stumbling backward, shouting and running out, blood-soaked.

Henry was about to leave when he saw Mia covered in blood. He lifted his leg to go upstairs
immediately.
Mia stopped him, crying, “Mr. Wilson, save me! My sister wants to kill me. You must explain to her; I
don’t want to compete with my sister for a man.. I really don’t.”
It was obvious who the “man” was.
No matter why Evelyn hurt her, she wouldn’t let this woman off.
Mia had heard of Henry’s cruel methods. Well, she was waiting for Evelyn to come to the hospital.
Henry’s legs felt as if they were frozen, making each step difficult.
Without turning back, he told David, “Take her to the hospital.”
After saying that, he headed straight to the bedroom.

The room was dimly lit. Henry didn’t turn on the lights., His sharp eyes fixed on the soft bed.
On the bed, Evelyn curled up, her brows furrowed, she was already asleep.
Unconsciously, Henry relaxed, afraid to disturb the girl. He even lightened his footsteps.
He stared down at Evelyn, realizing his original purpose for coming to her.

pulled him onto the bed.
Caught off guard, Henry found Evelyn nestled in his arms, her small furry head rubbing against his jaw.
Soon, she quieted down, not moving.
This intimate action drove Henry nearly insane.
