By seven o’clock in the evening, it was still raining in Oplen, albeit much lighter than before. At the hotel

entrance, Chloe was still waiting there. She seemed slightly fatigued, and the sky was already dark.

Paige persuaded her many times to return to the room, but Chloe refused to listen to her. Looking at

the dark rainy night outside, she was in a daze, thinking that her father would appear the next

moment… “Chloe, it’s already seven o’clock. Let’s eat…” Paige sighed at the sight of how much Chloe

yearned for her father. Noticing her daughter’s expectant gaze, she felt sorry deep down. Chloe was

already sensible since she was three years old. In the restaurant where Paige worked previously, she

father won’t be back today? At the earliest, he’ll only be back in two days. Why don’t you come inside

refused, “No, I can sense that Dad will come back today. I have good instincts… I’ll wait for Dad to

have instant noodles together, which is my favorite food. He will come back tonight, and I’ll offer him

eggs as well. That way, Dad will never leave once he is full, right? Mom…” Paige’s body trembled while

already! Your father won’t be back today!” Paige was livid as she shouted at Chloe. Hearing her

Nonetheless, she knew that her mother was angry and sad at the time, so she needed to be obedient.

Just as she was about to take Paige’s advice, Joseph suddenly appeared in the rain. He was walking

quickly toward them.

Chloe noticed Joseph from the corner of her eye. She immediately broke free from Paige’s arms and

ran toward her father. While running, she shouted happily, “Dad…”

“Chloe… What? How is this possible?” At the sight of Chloe running out, Paige was about to stop her.

Suddenly, she heard Chloe’s cheerful voice.

The next moment, she was shocked to see Joseph rushing over. She then saw how her daughter

happily threw herself into Joseph’s arms…

This scene made her incredibly emotional. Joseph… He was really back! How could this be possible?
