Chapter 5 - Will you go on a date with me?
Olivia's POV
I see him walking out of the bathroom and I take a deep breath, I feel my heart pounding and I can feel
my underwear soaking wet, unbelievable that my body would betray me like that.
I walk to the sink supporting my weight with my hands on the sink looking into the mirror blinking trying
to get my heart rate to a normal beating.
"Who the fuck do you think you are?" - I whisper to myself thinking about him.
I wash my hands trying to clean my mind at the same time I clean my hands. I grab my phone and
message Anna and John on our group chat.
“Hey, you guys want to meet up tonight around mine?”
“Sorry babe, I have a date” – Anna says
“Uhh, is it with that Greek god?” – I ask
“Hey Love, I can’t today I need to work a extra shift at the restaurant” – John replies
“Let me know when you guys can hang out, and Anna, Good luck” – I say sending her a wink emoji.
I put my phone on my pocket and I walk outside and I realise the class has started and as I don't want
to see HIM again I walk to the office and keep on with my work. I lose track of time and Lucas walks in
alone, which made me breathe better.
"Hey it's lunch time, do you want to join me?" - Lucas asked
"No thanks, I brought my food, thanks anyway" - I smile
“My treat, come on Liv, you never have lunch with me” – he says
“Maybe Monday?” – I say with a small smile
Lucas smiles at me and leaves the office and I take a break for my lunch, I set my salad bowl on the
table, open my book "My lycan" and turn on the music on my phone putting the ear pods in my ears.
After I finish I put everything in my lunch bag and crack on with work that Lucas emailed me.
"He doesn't take a break" - I say to myself
It’s around 6 when Lucas walks in "hey, do you want a ride home?"
"Isn’t it too much trouble?" - I ask
"No it's fine, come on" – he says while he grabs his suit blazer wallet and car keys from his desk.
I grab all of my stuff and I walk with Lucas towards his car that is in the parking lot, he’s got a posh Audi
and he opens the door for me, I slide in and he closes the door walking to the driver side and gets in
the car starting in and driving it to Brooklyn.
He turns on the radio and I look outside of the window, taking it all in. Usually I travel on the subway so
I don’t have the opportunity to see the city like this very often. I Love this city.
"I love this area" he says right before we arrive in front of my building.
"Yeah me too, but I just wish I could afford something better, but I don't think I could leave Brooklyn" - I
lie. I could leave Brooklyn, I wouldn't mind a penthouse on the Upper East Side... being near the park...
that would be great.
He stops the car and looks me deep in the eyes and makes me feel butterflies
"Hey?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Technically you already did" - I smile
He blushes, I wouldn’t take Lucas for a guy that blushes.
"Go ahead" - I say thinking that here we go again, with him asking me out and me saying no again.
This is becoming a little awkward.
"Do you have anything happening with Raphael?"
"I beg your pardon?" – I say a little in shock looking at him.
"It's just that I saw the way he was looking at you, and he never looks at women like that, he doesn't
have to, they throw themselves at his feet"
"No, I don't have anything with Mr Lockwood"
"Oh, so that leads me to another question"
"Okay" - I say
"Would you like to go out for dinner with me tomorrow night?"
What the fuck I think to myself, he is fast.
"Lucas with all due respect, No. you are my boss and that would be highly inappropriate of us to go on
a date, we should keep it friendly but always professional" – I say the same thing I said a couple of
weeks ago when he asked me out for drinks.
"But I really like you Olivia" – He doesn’t really know me, how can he like me? He likes the idea of me.
"I'm sorry but I can't" – I say with a small smile on my face and batting my eyes at him.
“Goodnight, and thanks for the ride” – I say not giving him a chance to continue the date conversation.
I open the door and walk away from the car leaving Lucas looking at me through the window with an
upset face.
I open the building door and close it behind me walking towards the lift. when I get to the second floor I
open the door to my flat and the moment I step in I grab my heel from my left foot and take it dropping it
on the floor and doing the same with my right one. I drop my bag near the door and throw myself on the
sofa turning the TV on.
My mind started to drift away into Raphael's direction, so I decided to google him, I got up and grabbed
my laptop going back to sit on the sofa. I sit on my feet and put the laptop on top of my legs. I type
Raphael Lockwood and his photo appears and those blue eyes stare at me through the laptop screen.
Why is he so damn sexy?
I feel butterflies on my stomach looking at his photo. He is serious, I start looking through all of them
and I can’t find him smiling on any of them, not even on red carpet events. He never smiles for photos,
but he has such powerful smile, I wonder why he hides it between that tough face, while looking at him
I remind myself of the way he grabbed me and spoke to me. He’s a prick, why am I that bothered about
him?
I decide to go to the kitchen and look in the fridge to grab some dinner, and... Surprise, surprise it is
empty. I forgot to go shopping. I grab a glass of water and walk to my room undressing and dancing to
the sound of the music coming from my laptop. I walk to the bathroom and turn the shower on, as the
water gets warmer I walk in and let the water wash away my thoughts, but as I am washing my body
and my hands touch my breasts I feel horny as fuck. I let my fingers travel towards my clit and I allow
myself to play with it making me come and say Raphael's name.
Fuck me sideways. Couldn’t I have thought about Channing Tatum or something? I get out of the
shower grabbing a towel and wrapping it around my hair and another around my body.
I walk into my bedroom and grab a thong from my underwear drawer and I get some tiny shorts and a
crop top, after getting dressed I go back to the bathroom towel drying my hair, I look at myself in the
mirror and smile, I am feeling extra confident today, maybe because of the bathroom scene, or Lucas
being Lucas.
I grab all of my dirty clothes throwing it into my laundry basket and I go do my laundry on the building's
basement. I’m dancing while doing it with music blasting from my ear pods. All of a sudden I feel
someone staring at me, I look behind me and there's a young man looking at me smiling pointing at my
ears. I take the ear pods off and I blush. I wrap my arms around my body trying to cover some skin
"Hi" - he says on a deep voice
"Hi, I thought no-one would be doing laundry on a Friday night" - I say excusing myself for my outfit and
the dancing
"It was entertaining" – he says and I blush thinking about how stupid I must’ve looked.
I see his eyes check me out, I can see him looking at my body and smiling.
I excuse myself grabbing my clothes basket and walk away to my flat, when inside I close the door and
take a deep breath.novelbin
I am still hungry but I decide that I am more tired than hungry so I walk to the bathroom and brush my
teeth.
I throw my body into my king size bed and drift immediately to sleep.
