Inside the Yeez Entertainment CEO's office, there was a girl that looked so alluring.She was so beautiful that she looked like a fairy, especially in her delicate costume.

However, despite her appeal, she sat rather inelegantly at the desk with her legs crossed, much like a rascal.

"Can't you behave more like a lady, Lyndsey?"

At this point, Jeremy, the CEO of Yeez Entertainment, kept massaging his temples with his hand.He seemed awfully frustrated.

"If at least one paparazzi snaps a photo of how you carry yourself in private..."

Lyndsey knew exactly what he meant, but she didn't seem to care about it in the slightest.

Instead, she smiled at him so complacently.

"Fine, I'll behave myself...but on one condition.You have to let me play Richard Wentworth!"

As if he heard something ridiculous, Jeremy's eyelids twitched.

"You want to be the leading man?! Lyndsey, I need you to be the heroine for this show.If I let you do that, who's gonna be my female lead?"

Upon hearing his protest, Lindsey chuckled enchantingly.

"Mr.Bradley...My dear boss, there are more than a thousand beauties downstairs who are desperate to audition for the role.Do you really have the heart to tell them that you've already decided on who's going to be your heroine?"

"This always happens in showbiz.They must know how it works, right? The series got so much investment riding on it.I can't really risk casting a heroine from those who auditioned.I need to entrust this role to someone with a proven track record.Besides, I only held that audition to discover some new talents that are worth cultivating."

Jeremy was actually feeling exasperated, but he still forced a smile.

"Look.Think of it like the role was written for you.If I give the part to someone else, it's not gonna be the same.You're the heroine that the story needs, Lyndsey.Why can't you be more willing? You can choose whoever you want to play Richard, okay? He doesn't have to come from our company if that's what you think is best.We'll get you anyone you want."

Even before Jeremy could finish, Lyndsey had already figured out where he was going with his speech.

And when he was finally done speaking, she couldn't help but beam victoriously.

"Anyone I want, huh?"

"Yes, Lindsey.Whoever you want.You name it."

In order to make her accept the role, Jeremy readily gave in and asked Lyndsey almost submissively.

Right now, he seemed completely different from the legendary powerful man in the rumors.

"Well, then.I wanna meet Mia."

After stating her demand, Lyndsey adorably batted her eyelashes and pouted like a child.

All of a sudden, she turned into an eager fangirl.

Mia was an elite scriptwriter that regularly worked on projects for Yeez Entertainment.

She had created many exceptional scripts and novels, that Jeremy later invested in and produced into either movies or TV series.

Although she was famous, Mia had actually kept her identity secret and never attended any activities of Yeez Entertainment.

Even if her script won numerous awards, Jeremy always received them on her behalf.She was so incredibly outstanding that other companies in the circle had tried everything they could to poach her.

However, despite their earnest efforts over the years, no one got any real information about Mia.

Even Jeremy kept his mouth shut about what little he knew about her.

As a result, Lyndsey adored her so much that she openly shared about her loyalty to Mia.

"Y-you...You want to see Mia? Do you really think it's that simple? Even I have to make an appointment with her.That's if she even accepts!"

As stunned as he was, Jeremy tried to remain cool.He nodded and retorted, "Yeah, so? I'm not seeing anyone special, so you wouldn't find a woman in my house."

"Ha!" Lyndsey exclaimed.

"You wish! Anyway, my point is...you're probably unaware that you spit out gibberish when you're drunk, right?"

"What if I am? Big deal.Everyone tends to do that if they get drunk enough."

Although Jeremy tried to discount what she was saying, he figured that something felt wrong.

"Well, you see, one thing you blurted out that night was the day Mia was gonna come here to personally submit the script.Joke's on you, Jeremy.That's today! Ha-ha-ha!"

As though she had presented him with hard evidence, Lyndsey appeared particularly confident as she raised her head and burst into laughter.

"I'm just gonna stay here in your office and wait for Mia, okay?"
