Chapter 26 How Long Do You Want Me To Wait

Francis was feeling dejected because he had set his eyes on Maria to play the role, but she still hadn't come over and asked for an audition.

All the while, he had been casting quick glances at her even though there was an auditionee in front of him.

When he finally took a break from stressing over the girl, he tried to focus on his job.

Only then did he find that the actress who was supposed to have begun her performance was still standing motionless onstage.

As a director, he thought that maybe she got stage fright.

Francis had been in the entertainment industry for many years.He had already seen, watched, and cast lots of actors, so he found it pretty normal for people to feel jittery at times like this.He used to feel impatient with actors who couldn't perform on cue.

She knew this man had a high position in Yeez Entertainment, but he had also been working as an executive assistant director for Francis for several years.

They were a highly distinguished pair in the industry.
