Chapter 29 Narcolepsy Attack In Jade Hotel.

Maria walked into the hotel lobby, but didn't stop to check in at the reception desk.

With her eyesight blurred, she staggered towards the elevator.

Standing in front of the private elevator meant for the top VIP members of the hotel, Maria took out a black card and hurriedly flashed it in front of the sensor.

With a soft beep, the elevator doors opened, and Maria stumbled inside.

Sweating profusely, she leaned against the wall.

The elevator doors closed automatically and began to move upward, without the need for pressing any buttons.

Jade Hotel was a global chain of hotels with the same layout and structure in every one of their buildings.

The top floor of the hotel exclusively housed suites for the VIP members.

These deluxe suites were all neatly and elegantly decorated in the same style in all of their buildings.

Therefore, Jade Hotel's customers could check in to any of their hotels in the world at any time without feeling unfamiliar.

This was the last thought in Maria's mind before she staggered into her suite and collapsed on the thick imported cashmere carpet on the floor without even closing the door behind her.It was a shame that she was less six feet from the comfortable bed.

On the same floor were several other top VIP suites.

A few minutes later, the door of the opposite suite to Maria's swung open.

A man sitting in a wheelchair frowned as he looked at the woman lying unconscious on the carpet in the opposite room.

"Mr.Wilson, isn't this a cheap scheme? That woman seems to be some female star who booked the suite opposite yours and pretended to faint in order to seduce you," a bodyguard in a black suit commented in a hollow voice.

He couldn't help but cluck his tongue in disapproval.

In order to seduce Mr.Wilson, this woman who was pretending to be unconscious must have spent almost her entire life savings on booking this top suite.

"Mr.Wilson, shall we contact the hotel manager and arrange for someone to deal with this matter?" the bodyguard asked.

Anthony stayed silent for a moment.He recognized the worn jeans and plain white shirt at once.

Almost everyone who came to Jade Hotel would dress up as if they were big celebrities who were going to walk the red carpet.

Even the hotel staff would not wear such simple clothes.

"Jack, inform the hotel staff to block this floor and forbid anyone from coming up here,"

Anthony ordered.He had many bodyguards working specially for him.

Among them, Jack and Janet were the most experienced and powerful.

They were also his trusted confidants.

"Yes, Mr.Wilson," Jack said carefully.

He thought that Anthony was angry at the woman and planned to teach her a lesson.

But the next second, he was shocked to see Anthony standing up from the wheelchair! Was Anthony going to shed his disguise in front of this woman? Ignoring the surprised look on Jack's face, Anthony walked right into Maria's open suite.

Crouching down by her side, he observed her condition carefully.

"She seems to be sleeping," he murmured in confusion.

Judging by the open door and the way she was sleeping on the carpet instead of the bed, Anthony figured that Maria was either drugged or afflicted with some obscure disease.

Even though she was only asleep, he did not feel comfortable leaving her alone here in case she suffered from any complications.

Thinking of this, he picked up Maria in his arms.

To his surprise, she was much lighter than he had expected.

Anthony carried Maria into his suite, lay her down on the bed, and covered her with a thin blanket.

"Jack, call Mr.Carter here," he said without taking his eyes off of Maria.

For a moment, Jack froze in astonishment.
