Trapped with My Billionaire Ex-Husband (Blair and Sebastian)

Chapter 10

Chapter 10

BLAIRE

A few minutes after I locked myself inside the closet, Candice arrived with all my stuff from the other

room that I used to occupy.

“Your clothes are here,” Sebastian said after he softly knocked on the door of the walk-in closet.

I unlock the door and open it. He was about to open his mouth to say something, but I was quick to

grab my suitcase from his hand and immediately slammed the door. Thankfully, he chose not to press

the matter further. Honestly, I’m confused right now. Sebastian was acting completely different from

what I was expecting. I thought my absence would finally give him the freedom that he always wanted.

But why is he suddenly acting so possessive? I wonder what happened in the last year that I was gone.

I took a final glance at the full-length mirror. I decided to wear a flowy white dress that was just above

my knee. I paired it with a red stilleto and a red sling bag. I laid down my long, curly hair to complement

the look. My deep set almond eyes and thick lashes has been more emphasized because of the light

mascarra that I applied. I also use the right amount of red lipstick to put color on my lips. My cheeks

were naturally rosy, so I didn bother applying some blush.

While I was here, I noticed that most of the stuff that I left when I filed f divorce still remains here

untouched. But I can’t see any traces of dust from any of it, as if it were properly maintained. The bag

and shoes that I’m wearing right now were among them.

I took a deep breath as I looked in the mirror. Once I’m ready, I go out of the closet. I found Sebastian

in the room, drying his wet hair with a small towel. I quickly shifted my gaze the moment our eyes met.

“I’m heading out,” I said as I continued to walk the door.

“Where are you going?” he asked.

“I’m going to check on dad,” I answered without looking at him.

“Wait for me. I’ll drive you to the hospital,” he said. novelbin

“I can drive myself,” I replied coldly. I didn’t wait for his answer and headed out of the room.

I wasn’t even surprised when I found Catherine waiting outside our door. I couldn’t help but raise my

eyebrow as I watched her look desperate while waiting outside our

room.

She greeted me with a smile. But it quickly went away when she realized that it was me who came out

of the room. She is probably expecting Sebastian; thus, her mood suddenly turns sour. I was taken by

surprise when she grabbed my arm all of a sudden and pulled me towards the corner in the hallway.

“You shouldn’t have come back,” she said firmly between gritted teeth.

I smirked before s natching my arm away from her grasp. “Why? Did you and Sebastian’s work out

when I left? Are you threatened

said it

mockingly.

She sneered, “Don’t make me laugh, Blaire. I’m his first girlfriend, first. love, and first everything. Do

you really think I should be threatened by your presence?” She said it sarcastically.

I tried to maintain a straight face. But the truth is, her words are cutti right into my heart like a sharp

knife. Each cut gets deeper and deepe she continues to remind me who she is in Sebastian’s life.

“You’re right. You’re his first everything. But how sure are you that you’l

last?”

She clearly wasn’t expecting it. She was taken aback and took her time before she responded. “And

who will it be, you?” She said it mockingly.

I smirked, “No, thanks. I’m not interested. You can have Sebastian for yourself, for all I care. I didn’t

come back for me. He’s all yours,” I replied before walking past her. I deliberately pushed her with my

shoulder, which caused her to lose her balance. I chuckled as I watched her fall to the ground.

Chapter 10

“Blaire!” I heard Sebastian’s thundering voice coming from the door. “What did you do?” he accused as

he helped Catherine get up from the

floor.

I grunted. “Really? Just because you saw her on the floor, you already assume that it was my fault.

“I saw you push her. What do you expect me to assume?” He responded while his arm was encircling

Catherine’s shoulder in a protective manner.

I looked at Catherine, and I could see the smile playing on her lips. She’s clearly enjoying this, but I will

not give her that satisfaction.

I shrugged my shoulders as if I didn’t care less. “Think whatever you want, Sebastian. I have no time

for this,” I replied before going downstairs.

The people downstairs pretended as if they were busy with their chores, but looking at their faces, they

clearly heard the argument between me

and Sebastian.

Clifford was already downstairs, probably waiting for Sebastian. I nodded at him to acknowledge his

presence before walking towards Candice.

“Can you please prepare a car that I can use for today?” I told her.

“Madam, Mr. Foster already has the car prepared for you,” Clifford butted in.

“He’s probably going to use that. I’m going to use another one,” I respectfully decline. I looked at

Candince, who has been continuously shifting his eyes in between Clifford and me, as if she were

figuring out which order she was going to follow. When she saw me looking at her, she quickly moved

to find the car key and handed it to me.

“It’s in the basement parking, Miss Blaire,” she said.

I smiled at her before heading towards the elevator going to the basement. I pushed the button, and it

instantly opened up for me. I went inside and pushed another button, going to the basement. As the

elevator door closed, I saw Sebastian and Catherine going down the stairs. Sebastian was glaring at

me. I roll my eyes the moment the elevator door closes.

It took me a few minutes before I finally reached the basement parking lot. I pressed the button to see

which car this key went to. I turned to left once I heard the beeping sound coming from the car. I was

quite impressed when I found out that I’d be driving a black Rolls-Royce Sweptail today.

I immediately got in and let myself settle in. I grabbed the steering wheel as I started the engine. I drive

towards the exit. The door automatically rolled up once I started to come closer to it. And when I

reached the gate, I frowned when I noticed Sebastian standing near the gate..

I stopped right in front of the gate and waited for it to open. I frowned when I noticed that it wasn’t

moving. My confusion grew even bigger when Lnoticed Sebastian approaching the car. Thinking that

he’s probably going to join me in the car, I quickly pressed the lock. As I expected, he was trying to

open it. I thought he was going to get mad, but he remained calm. I saw him reach out from his pocket.

I saw him bring out his phone. I thought he was going to call someone, but I was surprised when the

car suddenly unlocked itself. That’s when I realized that he could control the car using his phone.

He immediately entered the car once he unlocked it.

“Get off the car!” I yelled at him irritatedly. I don’t care if he owns this car. I hate being in close proximity

to him, especially after his accusation at while ago.

“Aren’t you going to visit your father? So do I. Let’s be responsible humans. and conserve energy. Do

you have any idea how many carbon footprints a car leaves?” He said it with a wide smile, acting as if

he’s really concerned about the environment.

“Are you fcking serious?” I uttered it in pure disbelief.

“Do you want me to drive?” he asked, not minding my utter annoyance. towards his presence.

“I can’t believe this!” I responded irritatedly. I glare at him. I haven’t forgotten what he did to me a while

ago in front of Catherine. “You have a lot of cars in the garage; why don’t you use another car?”

Chapter 10

“As I said.”

“Cut the cr ap about saving the environment.” I cut him off.

“I haven’t told your dad about what happened to us. What do you think will happen if you go to the

hospital without your husband?”

I raised my eyebrow and said, “I’ll just tell him that you’re busy, or you’re in an important meeting, or

something. I’ll figure out something.”

“And painted me as a bad son-in-law? I’m not the type of husband who would choose work over his

wife, who’s currently in a deep situation. Especially now that her father is in the hospital,” he

responded.

I bit my lower lip while clenching my jaw. I was out for words. I’m already out of reasons to kick him out

when he’s making a good argument.

“Fine,” I said, finally resigning from our argument. “If you want to go with me, then you should buckle

up.” I smirked.

“No, thanks. I can manage,” he replied before he started checking up on his phone to read some

emails.

I watched the gate as it slowly opened. Once the path was clear, I stepped on the gas as hard as I

could, and the roaring sound of the car filled our surroundings.

“Blaire!” He called out my name as he tightened his grip on the edg seat. “Fcking sh*t! Blaire, slow

down!” He shouted as his eyes grew wi and wider as seconds passed.

But instead of slowing down, I even go faster, as if the road is going to collapse. “Enjoy the ride, Mr.

Foster.”
