“If you call her sister, she’ll call me uncle, and I don’t want to feel so old.”

Yulia was in a better mood after seeing how Skylar dealt with two quarreling girls. It seemed that he knew how to take care of children.

Skylar patted Lola’d head with affection.

Yulia laughed as well.

She thought that Skylar was comforting Lola, so she did not take it seriously. She even bet that Lola would forget about the necklace by then. As she would buy the 30 thousand necklaces and Lola would not even know.

After buying groceries, they went back home. Skylar told Yulia to watch cartoons with Lola as he got busy in the kitchen.

However, as soon as he was washing the vegetables, Yulia walked into the kitchen.

“I can guarantee that I’ll be able to prepare a meal within half an hour without your help.” Skylar smiled.

Yulia remained silent. She looked at him quietly and had a complicated expression on her face.

Skylar’s heart was pounding, but he still had something to do.

After a moment, Yulia spoke in sotto voce.
