Unrivaled Dragon Lord

Chapter 6: The Assassination Began!

Chapter 6: The Assassination Began!

When Greta thought of Maxwell, she gave up on this idea.

In her impression, Maxwell was smooth-tonged and lazy. How could this guy who would tolerate

everything and even give up his dignity for a salary of 20,000 per month be the big shot that Fabian

mentioned?

If Maxwell knew who Fabian was, he would probably not dare to breathe!

When she thought of Maxwell, Greta felt disgust. She wouldn't believe him to be the person who can

help her unless the pig flew!

In Greta's heart, the last person who can help her was Maxwell.

"Did you see that person's face clearly?" Greta asked.

Fabian had a bitter face. How could he recall what Maxwell looked like? Last night, he was so

frightened by him that he almost wet his pants. He didn't have the mood to remember Maxwell's

appearance at all.

Regarding Maxwell, Fabian's mind was blank.

"President Greta, last night, I was being lectured by Maxwell. I didn't remember what he looked like. I

only remember that his aura is very strong," Fabian said.

"Got it." Greta gave up inquiring. The words 'strong aura' couldn't be used to refer to Maxwell at all.

That man was definitely not him.

After Fabian left, Greta crossed her arms around her chest and looked down at the CBD of Ocean City

through the huge floor-to-ceiling window.

There were many high-rise buildings in the Ocean City. Greta's charming eyes flashed with doubt. Who

was it that helped her? Who could possess such power that changed Fabian?

Greta did not seem to know such a person.

Sandoval Tower was located in the center of the Ocean City, and there were snack bars and coffee

shops near it.

A taxi stopped. The door was opened and Maxwell got off. He had a cigarette in his mouth, and he

looked like a hooligan.

He checked his surroundings and fixed his gaze on some passing girls in miniskirts.

Maxwell smiled meaningfully and evilly as he looked at them with relish.

He indifferently smoked. Although his focus was fixed on plump and luring female legs, his eyes were

extremely calm without any desires.

He seemed to have inadvertently had a glance of his surroundings, but deep in his mind, the location of

street cameras and perfect places for assassination was implanted.

Maxwell exhaled a mouthful of smoke. He suddenly stood up and walked into a coffee shop.

There weren't many customers in the coffee shop where soothing music was played. Maxwell ordered

a cup of Blue Mountain Coffee, found a seat near the window and sat down.

Maxwell deliberately chose a coffee shop facing the Sandoval Tower, and he could see the gate of the

Sandoval Tower from where he was sitting.

Maxwell enjoyed his coffee and watched the people coming and going around the Sandoval Tower with

thoughtful eyes.

He smiled, and his gaze swept across the street. The surroundings of the Sandoval Tower looked

normal, but it was terrifyingly quiet. There was an inexplicable coldness that caused people to shiver.

A cleaner was cleaning the street with a lowered head and a mask on his face. A man was sitting on a

bench by the roadside and was reading newspaper, and he glimpsed at the entrance of the Sandoval

Tower from time to time. On the road, there was a black car parked. The windows of the car were made

of reflective glass, so no one could see who was in the car.

Maxwell stood up and watched the situation with a meaningful look. His smile grew wider and wider.

This was an assassination! It was a well-planned assassination! Clearly, these people were all

disguised assassins.

The information from the young man was true. Someone wanted to deal with Greta. And he would do it

more subtly than Fabian!

He wanted Greta dead!

Even Fabian was just a pawn. The target of the assassination was Maxwell's wife, Greta, the famous

president of the Sandoval Group!

Maxwell's thoughtful eyes flashed with killing intent!

"Interesting. Looks like some people are courting their deaths." Maxwell muttered, and his expression

became even colder.

The person who set the assassination was determined to kill Greta ... How could Maxwell stand by and

watch?

Maxwell would definitely make him pay!

Maxwell walked out of the coffee shop. The vigilant assassins stared at him nervously. Maxwell lit a

cigarette and pondered for a moment. Under the eyes of these assassins, he slowly walked into the

Sandoval Tower.

In the underground garage of Sandoval Tower, Greta was walking towards her Maybach with her

secretary, Melissa, on high heels. It was close to mealtime, and the two were discussing about what to

eat.

From afar, Greta saw a familiar person walking towards her.

Greta's pretty face revealed astonishment. Then, she watched as the man who disgusted her walked

over and stopped.

"What are you doing here?" Greta asked coldly. Beside her, Melissa blinked her big clear eyes with

confusion. She rarely saw Greta being so indifferent to others.

Greta was angered the moment she saw Maxwell. She had warned him long ago not to leave the

mansion, let alone look for her!

Maxwell chuckled. He didn't care about Greta's disgust at all and said, "President Greta, there's no

food left at home, so I'd like to have the honor to have a meal with you..."

Melissa was shocked. She heard the two important words "at home", which triggered her curiosity

about the relationship between Maxwell and Greta in an instant.

"You..." Greta gritted her teeth and looked at the man in front of her, feeling even more disgusted.

Greta didn't bother to talk crap with Maxwell. She took out a thick stack of money from her wallet and

threw it to Maxwell. "No need to pay it back. I don't want to see you in the company. Immediately

disappear! Now!"

"Alright, President Greta is indeed generous!" Maxwell agreed, but when he saw Greta's Maybach, he

smiled flatteringly and said, "President Greta, you must be tired from working all morning. Can I drive novelbin

for you?"

"Just do it." Greta didn't want to entangle with the shameless Maxwell. She snorted coldly and sat

down with Melissa in the back seat of the Maybach.

Just as Maxwell sat in the driver's seat and slowly drove the Maybach out of the garage...

At this moment, something happened!

A cleaner who was doing the cleaning suddenly threw away his broom and took out a silver pistol while

rushing towards the car!

The man who was reading the newspaper put away the newspaper and rushed towards them as well!

The assassination began!
