Chapter 14: Kenji's Past I

When Kenji was younger, he receives lots of love from his parents especially from his mom, he was a

joyful kid, until his eyes were open to his father's business, the V organization, the one who start the

lead of vampires to take over humans, he was so innocent to all of this turning his personality to his

total opposite.

His mom does her best to keep the joyful kid he is, but the reality of him as a vampire, him thinking that

they are evil, really does change him to a more serious version of himself, he is cold to everyone, but

he do still knows how to laugh, his mother personally calls him crazy as she was scared on how will her

child turn into as he grows up.

He most wanted to take over the organization, be the boss, be higher than anyone else, that is all he

wanted despite being a young child. When he met Rehan in the gathering, he for once had a friend, he

was always invited to the auction, where Rehan would always talk about his girl of interest that always

ignores him.

"That was the streak, I can't remember I lost count.", Kenji said with a annoying face as he teases

Rehan, when the other boy glares at him with annoyance scream, that is when he'll laugh on his friend, novelbin

they keep hanging out in the auction with him watching his friend get rejecting every single time he'll try

to talk to the girl, but what surprise him is when his friend said that he will also ignore the girl, at some

point it eases his insides, he was more of glad than surprise, "I will get her from you one day.", was all

he can think of, he can't lie to himself as he knows for sure that he also likes the innocent scared girl.

As time passes, as he was in his 20s in human age, he receive a notification about Rehan's parents'

death, he goes to their house to see them staked in their coffin and to give consideration to Rehan, he

soon leave too after giving little of his time to the funeral, as soon as he gets back to the mansion

where he was treated as the prince of the organization though he really hate it, he immediately runs to

his room as he plans out something.

Not long after Rehan's parents' death, he contact him to ask him do what he had planned, "Rehan, I

want you to stake my dad.", he said as his creepy smile grew wide, he was expecting the response of

the other line and so he explain, "You did it to your dad right? You can do it to my dad too, I don't want

stain in my hand so do this favor for me.", he said and the response of the other line makes his smile

from creepy to a glad one, he then hang up the call.

"Okay, all according to plan, not long I'll be the boss.", he said before a laugh escape his lips, a laugh

that was once sounding sweet turns into a evil tone, but little did he knows all his plans were known by

the one outside his room door carrying a snack for him, it was his mother, his mother who is now

trembling after hearing what her son has planned, it makes her leave her son alone as a thought runs

in her mind.
