Cordelia looked out the window coldly. This man was going to leave her on the highway!
She unbuckled her seat belt without hesitation. “With pleasure!”

Elijah drove away quickly.
Standing in the middle of the highway, Cordelia couldn’t help but shudder in the strong gust.

“We’ve all been young once. Don’t be so hard on yourself.”

Cordelia didn’t reply. Imogen asked again, “What are you going to do next?”
