The boys sneered. "Give our mommy back to us, or your phone and company get it."

And the video ended. His phone returned to normal, but Isaac narrowed his eyes. They're threatening me. He wasn't mad. He was just intrigued. If they're the ones I need to win over, then so be it.

Just then, Patricia's voice rang out. "Isaac? Mr. Arnold? You there?"

He set up the defense system in his phone and tossed it aside. He made his way to the bathroom in the master bedroom and knocked on the door. "What's wrong, Tricia?" He wanted to go inside, but the door was locked, keeping him out.

Patricia covered herself in a towel. She stared at her feet, feeling awkward and sad. "Um, it's here."

Puzzled, he cocked his eyebrow. "What's here?" He wasn't knowledgeable in this, so he didn't know what she was getting at.

She then answered awkwardly, "My period's here. Can you get me some pads?"

She thought it was inappropriate to ask him, but she couldn't leave the hotel. They came to this place in a hurry, and she didn't bring any extra clothes. Going out without a pad would dirty the only clothes she had.

Oh, I see. Isaac said, "Sure."

Patricia's eyes widened in shock. "You sure? Why don't you ask the staff to do it? Or you could bring her here, and I'll ask her myself." That was the only idea she had, but at least, she wouldn't feel this awkward talking about pads with a girl.

He chuckled at that. "I can do it. Give me a second." He got changed, picked his phone up, and left.

Tom was waiting outside, and he straightened up the moment he saw Isaac. "Sir."

There were no bodyguards around, so Liam asked him to stand guard and be ready for anything. Lots of people were out for Isaac's life. His business competitors and those whom he defeated would come after him. His safety took top priority. It was always better to be safe than sorry. novelbin

Isaac pondered for a moment before asking, "What should I do for a lady who's on her period?"

Tom froze for a moment. He looked at the room and shook his head. "Sir, I've never dated anyone before, so I can't be sure, but you can check online. There are tons of guides for this."

Isaac held his phone up and nodded. "Stay here. Call me if anything happens. I'll be back in a moment."

He checked the guide and went to the supermarket, but he had no idea what to choose. There were a lot of variations of pads. Ultimately, he left with two big bags. He got every brand on the shelf as well as some heating pads and brown sugar.

Tom couldn't believe his eyes. How much did he buy? "Sir, did you buy everything they offer?"

Isaac looked at his bags. "Yeah. I don't know what she'd like, so…"

He then went into the room, and Tom couldn't help but feel amused. So, there is something he doesn't know, huh? He thought it was adorable. They used to be terrified of Isaac since he ruled the business world with an iron fist. Yet, he went out for pads himself just a moment ago, and he even bought two whole bags of them. It was just amusing. No wonder women go crazy for him. I think I'd fall for him as well if I were a woman.

Patricia had come out of the bathroom as well. "Whoa. How much did you buy?"
